Thinking about wanting a white and brighter smile?
Dull, stained, and discoloured teeth may leave you feeling self-conscious and consequently affect your social and professional life. We can help you restore and whiten your teeth quickly and safely.
Think carefully about using an over-the-counter solution don’t just trust anyone but a qualified dental practitioner to whiten your teeth.
Which whitening options are available?
When it comes to teeth whitening, there are no one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on your lifestyle we can offer you two ways to whiten your teeth. An in-office whitening session or a custom take-home whitening kit.
If you choose in-office whitening, this option provides instant results.
The end results of both take-home and in-office teeth whitening methods are similar. For at-home whitening kits, this will lighten your teeth over a period of 10-14 days.
Book a consultation with one of our dentists or oral health therapists and we can assess which whitening option is best for you.
How do we whiten your teeth in our practice?
Our dentists use Australian-made Polaoffice+. The quickest and easiest treatment available for in-chair whitening which takes under an hour to complete! All under the supervision of your dentist or oral health therapist.
Polaoffice+ has a unique formulation that dissolves and releases the active whitening ingredient immediately to initiate the whitening process and does not require UV light therapy to accelerate the process.
Prior to whitening with Polaoffice+, a protective gum barrier is applied to protect your gums.
We can help you achieve up to 5 shades of whiter teeth in less time than other in-chair whitening methods. You can sit back, relax and watch your favourite show on Netflix.
How does a home whitening kit work?
For a home whitening method, we make a customised mouth tray so you can safely and effectively apply your whitening gel.
As the custom-made tray is tailored to your teeth, our at-home whitening kits will give you better results than an over-the-counter, one-size-fits-all approach.
Using only premium quality whitening materials, we can deliver dramatic results while protecting your teeth. Our dentists recommend SDI Poladay and Polanight whitening systems.
How long does teeth whitening last?
Your lifestyle is a big factor in keeping your teeth stain-free. If you love your coffee or wine, then more frequent touch-ups may be needed. Most people choose to touch up their teeth every 3-6 months.
Only trust your dentist to whiten your teeth
Dentists and oral therapists are qualified with the necessary skills to assess your teeth as your dental history is important to consider. As discoloured teeth are not always caused by lifestyle habits, sometimes antibiotics could be the cause of your teeth discolouration.
Different treatments may be necessary to prevent further damage to your teeth.
Only your dentist can check for problems such as cracked enamel, cavities, and other problems that need special attention.
A professional clean by your dentist at Bella Dental Penrith also removes many stains that a DIY kit cannot achieve.
Call our team for a consultation and we will come up with a plan for your lifestyle and help you achieve a healthy and whiter brighter smile.
